The T. stirmi only came about in the US hobby when hobbyists realized the T. blondi they had known were really T. stirmi. The T. stirmi are differentiated by the pink tarsi only on the first 4 legs as kidlins, and much more burgundy appearance than T. blondi. They get almost the same hulking legspan, and have the same uber itchy urticating hairs. These are common as WC adult imports, but CB non-parasite infused juveniles are rare. They do well at temps between 75-85 with humidity of 75%. I first mated and produced this species back in 2009. Not a WC specimen that dropped a sac, like so many claim they’ve bred, but an actual pairing, and eggsac hatching, all in house. Again, back in 2009. At the time, it was an accomplishment.
