Pelinobius muticus-King Baboon 2.5-2.75″ CB

$80.00

The King Baboon is probably the most famous of the Baboon tarantulas, with their short rusty colored hair, giant turkey drumsticks for hind legs, and their impressive threat display that involves stridulation, fang-baring and striking. And it’s not a bluff; they will latch on if given the chance. As velvety smooth as they are, you won’t see much of them if you’re keeping them correctly. They have been known to burrow three feet down in their native Kenya, so allow them to at least make a cursory burrow. They are incredibly slow-growing, with females living to be 25 years or more. They like temps between 72-82 with humidity of 65%. Did I mention they will bite the crap out of you? Don’t handle and an 8″ female has half inch fangs, so think about that and look at your 10 sausages. These are CB.
