Magistoproctus giganteus-Vinegaroon 3″

$35.00

Did I mention before that I had a soft spot for oddballs? Yeah, probably once or two thousand. Welly well, we have another one here, the largest species of Vinegaroon/Whipscorpion the M. giganteus. They’re funky and prehistoric, with an armored appearance. They also have two long appendages similar to Ambilipygids and Solifugids which help them feel and see and overcome their minimal eyesight. “Like a blind man at an orgy, I had to feel things out.” They also seem quite menacing until you scoop them up and realize all they can really do is release acetic acid(vinegar). Get yourself a sandwich. They eat well, and can become obese quickly, so watch out for that. They grow slowly, as they are desert dwellers and fairly long-lived. They’ll attain a max length of 4″ and do best with moderate temps and humidity. They are a terrific beginner friendly pet creepy crawly.
