Caribena(=Avicularia) versicolor-Antilles Pink Toe 2″

$65.00

nd here we have one of the true classics of the modern T hobby, the Avicularia versicolor. In case you venture as to why this is so, you get a spiderling that only gets better with age. It begins as a light blue bodied beauty with a black toches (thought I’d say booty didn’t you) and graduates to an all blue stunner to the astounding fluffy purple, green and red trifecta it reaches. Docile, easy, always hungry; they’re the perfect arboreal. Back in 2004, I produced a sac with the help of Jason Yanofsky, a dear friend of mine, that tallied 262 squirts, a record at that time. A few years later that record was broken and really broken by a total of 325 kidlins. And so it goes. They are an absolute joy to keep, and it is easily done with temps of 75-82 and humidity of 75%. There are rumors of a species revision, so we’ll see what happens there.
