Truly, what more needs to be said concerning one of the most revered arboreal hobby staples? Great disposition, a willingness to tolerate temps in the low 70s if need be, a manageable 4.5″ adult size, and those toes!!! Gotta love em. My mother had an A. avicularia she named Baryshnikov due to the toes and the delicate way hers would move about. They do of course need humidity of at least 70% and adequate ventilation, but there is a myriad of reasons as to why they are as beloved as they are. Recommended for a beginner and seasoned veteran alike.
