Here we have a nice little treat from the genus Avicularia. It possesses a greenish carapace, an almost two tone red and black abdomen, and those beautiful yellow/gold bands cascading down blackish legs; very sharp! They top out just a touch north of 5″ and while very active and bouncy, are usually not defensive. They require temps in the 75-84 range, and humidity of at least 75% is essential. Additionally, good ventilation will ensure that all that warm and moist air doesn’t become stagnant.
