Carebena(=Avicularia) laeta-Puerto Rican Pink Toe .5″
Here is a victim of the great Avicularia revision, the Carebena laeta. This is one of the most stunning of tarantulas as babies, being a screaming neon blue that eventually fades into a brownish olive coloration, with faint abdominal markings. The inquisitive and docile nature also fades as they grow, as adult C laeta can become downright cantankerous and nippy! So, handling is not recommended. They can be kept like most Avicularia species, at 75F with humidity of 70% and good ventilation. This is a fast growing species.
