Poecilotheria striata-Mysore Ornamental 1″+

$35.00

The P. striata is curiously one of the more underappreciated Pokies, and I’m not sure why that is. Easy to keep, very respectable legspan of 7″, the smattering of yellow-orange streaks adorning the legs and the long orange setae off of the legs. Add in a darkened wash overall and factor in the yellow warning colors, and yeah, there’s much more to them than meets the eye. They tend to be more on the defensive side, though not nearly as bad as fasciata. P. striata thrives in captivity, and tolerates temp and humidity swings almost as well as P. regalis does. Anywhere between 70-85F with humidity of 60-75% will keep them going long and strong. The particular ones we have are very well started kids.
