Stichoplastoris sp Chiapas-Mexican Stripe Knee .75″ First time in US!

$75.00

Here is a neat T,  one that I appreciate more and more each day. I had Stichoplastoris species in the past, an especially leggy and nervous species from Las Juntas, Costa Rica stands out. It was also a uniform brown, and not very sexy. I was dumbfounded when I saw the adult female of the species Chiapas. Beautiful dark brown/black abdomen, a two-toned carapace with a cephalic V, and yellow knee striping offset by greyish legs. DAAAAAYYYYMMMMNNN! They are a looker. They originate in the Chiapas region of Mexico, so keep them on the humid side and temps in the high 70s to mid 80s. They are voracious and quick, so be ready for their speed. Stichos aren’t typically defensive, but their nervous nature often leads to defensive bites. Again, this is a first time to the US species, and a very, very limited supply is up for grabs.
