Poecilotheria fasciata-Sri Lankan Ornamental .75″

$20.00

The P. fasciata aren’t as brilliantly colored as some of the other Pokies, but they’re not without their charms. They have a nice purplish wash on the carapace, the white and black colors are present too, but are more muted, as the black is almost grey. They also lack the white band on the underside of the abdomen that P. regalis sports, and the yellow is present on the underside of the legs, but is a tad reduced. The adult size is a tad over 6″, and they and P. striata can be some of the most downright nasty of the Poecilotheria. HOWEVER, that purple wash is quite a little bit of all right, and they’re quite easy to keep. Temps of 72-84 and humidity of 70% with an arboreal set-up ends this diatribe. Again, only handle if you’ve decided you’re a made up deity.
