A great deal of controversy surrounds the Grammostola rosea. Until taxonomists endorse the porteri species, I shall call them rosea, and all the naysayers can just deal with it. So, the Chilean Rose Hair persists. You get one of the the staples of the hobby in CB form, and it is in fact the pink carapace variant. They do well at 72-84 with humidity of 60%. They are generally docile, and therefore I recommend them for beginners.
