This Grammostola species, (yup, spelling it correctly again) while similar to G actaeon is quite different side to side. The adult size of 6″ is the same, the care requirements of G iheringi are virtually identical 72-86 and 70% humidity, but the blue/black overall color is far more prevalent here and the red far more reduced. The red lingers about the abdomen, and that’s pretty much it. A bit nervous, as is G actaeon, so handling is not advised.
