Here we have arguably the most brilliantly colored and patterned species of Chilobrachys, the Electric Blue aside, ‘natch. The purple femurs, the golden carapace, and the pinstriped abdomen, holy underwear Batman! You also get a respectable 5″ legspan, and all the Old World attitude you can stand. These will bite readily and are speedy, so handling and/or futzing is not advised. They need enough substrate to create a burrow or den, and do best at temps between 75-85 and humidity of 70%.
